Consignment
What is consignment?
Consignment is a commercial term that refers to a giving over of objects. If your goods are on consignment, you still own them while they are on sale with us and can have them shipped back at any point.
What are the benefits?
The benefits to consigning items are that we can pay you out a substantial amount more than we can on an instant cash-out just because we aren't laying out the initial price of the item. Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayPal F&F to save you on fees.
We are also saving you all the time of cleaning, photographing, editing, shipping, then dealing with all the messages and time-wasters! The only downfall is waiting for the item to sell but typically most items sell in 1-3 weeks.
How can you trust us?
We are a trusted service by many & have hundreds of reviews over multiple platforms also offering a middleman service. Most of our consigning customers are those of whom we have dealt with before & keep coming back, we must be doing something right!
How do we proceed?
1. We agree on a price.
2. You ship the item to us.
3. Then we will authenticate the item & list on our site.
4. Once sold we will pay you right away on the initial agreed price.
Alterations
For alterations we have an in-house tailoress with over 40 years experience.
We offer alterations on all products purchased with us. Pricing varies from product to product and we will need specific requirements as to what you want doing. Please contact us for a quote.
Due to the product being altered it is strictly no returns.
Trade with us / Store Credit
We accept Trades! This is only available on pre-owned clothing & accessories.
If you see an item you want & would like to trade in your item for store credit on one of ours, or for a straight swap, just contact us including photos of your item(s) & a description.
The item(s) MUST be authentic & in at least good condition.
How it works:
1. We agree on a deal.
2. You ship your items to us.
3. Once received we Authenticate the item & ship yours out the next working day!
We do not ship first. Please see our hundreds of reviews if you have not dealt with us before.
Middleman Service
Do you want to Trade an item with someone but don't want to ship first? We offer a Trusted Middleman service to help you with that.
How it works:
1. You & whomever you are Trading with agree on a deal.
2. You both ship the items to us at Original Allure.
3. We send photos to both members to confirm it is the item you firstly agreed on.
4. We then ship them both out using a Tracked service so you are both covered on the value of the item. It couldn't be any easier!
